Places are currently available for eligible participants in Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Tweed Heads, and surrounding regions for the MAR20324 Certificate II in Maritime Operations (Coxswain Grade 1 Near Coastal).
This course is funded by the NSW Government under the Smart and Skilled program, with limited placements available in each region.
Smart and Skilled is a NSW Government initiative that provides subsidised training to help residents gain the skills they need for employment and career advancement.
Eligibility for Smart and Skilled funding has expanded. Students are no longer restricted by previously completed qualifications, making government-funded training more accessible than ever.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be 15 years of age or older
- No longer be at school
- Live or work in New South Wales
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen
If eligible, you will pay only a subsidised student fee, with the remaining course cost covered by the NSW Government. Our team will guide you through every step of the application process.
